Just a reminder: Mathew's Power 90 Finale is coming up this Saturday, the 12th. Just four short days until I am done with this program. I plan on taking a week off from intense workouts and supplements and will probably do 3 or 4 light runs (I used to run A LOT so I rather miss it).
Then it's on to P90X... This blog will continue on as before, no matter what program we're doing.
Meanwhile, Dan's 60 Day Check-in is coming up on the 17th. We have been out on the road working different events all summer so I haven't actually seen Dan in person since before he started P90, back when I was just getting started with the program (it seems like such a long time ago!). I am looking forward to seeing what he's accomplished in the past two months, especially since his stated goal is to "beat" me at P90. Yeah, we'll see, punk (we should have the push up competition poolside at the Villa Rolandi and change it from the loser eating Snickers to the loser chugging those delicious Bloody Mary's - or maybe the winner gets the Bloody Mary's. Or maybe we'll just have to tie and then drink Bloody Mary's. What was that bartender's name again??).
To everybody else, keep it up! I know there are a few of you who have just started and I hope that the success and progress of the people who are nearing completion will inspire you to keep at it, not skip workouts, and keep eating according to the plan. It really does work.
